Winter is a bad season for the skin. It’s dry, flaky and itchy, especially after a hot shower. When I found this body lotion I was excited because I have never seen a body lotion with the statement “anti-irritation and anri-scratching” before.

The lotion comes in a pump bottle which is easy to use. The only draw back is when there is about 10% left, you can’t pump it out anymore.

The lotion is thich and creamy but absorbs well. It does help prevent the scratching. I only use it in days that my son or I scratched so much during the shower. It helps to ease the irritation.

Quite happy with this body lotion.

BYS: Coffee Body Scrub

I recently just started to use body exfoliators in my bath routine. I never heard about coffee as an ingredient to use until I came across the coffee bar scrub, a complementary sample from the gift bag.

However, the coffee bar couldn’t hold its integrity in the shower so I this as scrub powder instead.

It doesn’t have a strong coffee fragrance but once you put onto your dampen skin, it works very well. The skin appears cleaner. The scrubs is more gentle than if you want to remove dead skin cells with a brush.

Not too sure about the effectiveness of stretch marks and cellulite but so far it is nourishing to use.

This foot cream is quite thick but easily absorb on the skin. I applied it before going to bed and in the morning the feet is still soft.

If continue to use every night the dry skin on the feet has dramatically reduced.

Nivea: Lip Balms

When I was still in high school, must have been at least 20 years ago. Nivea lip balms are my go to for winter days.

Recently I am not sure if they have changed the formula or not but I have bought a few from them and it doesn’t seem to work for me.

It does not have a natural feel but rather like a thin layer of wax. Sometimes it made me feel uncomfortable and slightly itchy or dry. Pretty much wasting my money. Now I have changed to Blistex and it’s alright.

Firstly, we have to clarify the difference between 100% natural and natural fragrance. I thought these products are made from all natural products but there are SLS in it, only the fragrances are 100% sourced from natural products.

Despite saying that, I love it. They smell wonderful and fresh. I also like the different colourful packaging. They are generally always on specials at supermarkets so it’s a very good deal to get.

Predire: Luxury Foot Cream

Firstly this foot cream is quite expensive ($125 USD) if it was not on special.

My feet is extremely dry and wrinkled, sometimes flaky especially during winter. It is not easy to find a foot cream that you like and works well.

The cream itself is thick and soft rather than sticky. When applied it instantly smooth out onto your skin. It has a light scent which is really nice. It is also not too greasy and dry up quite quick.

You can immediately see that the skin is no longer looking dry or flaky, however, I still need something to fix my wrinkles. My feet looks 10 years older than my age 😔.

I received this product in a promotional gift bag. The cream is an opaque gel like without any fragrance. It’s very thick so you only need a small amount.

When you first rub your hands together it’s quite sticky but slowly blended out and changed to non-oily. It relieves dry skin nicely. Especially during cold and windy weather.
