It has been a while since I last posted something. Life has been very busy but I still try to find sometime to take care of my skin. The adventure is still on going and I have been trying out many new products.

I accidentally stumbled on this brand from the pop up feeds on my Facebook’s page. After reading so many positive reviews I decided to try out the Super Acai Exfoliator.

I was very satisfied with the decision. The packaging is so beautiful and the product is exceptionally worthy. It has a fresh fruity fragrant. Beautiful scent and relaxes your mind. They are organic and made with natural ingredients. It is a bonus for people with sensitive skin or those concerns about harsh chemicals. Australian made too.

The face compost is a sold out. It took me a very long time to wait for it to get back in stock and I finally got my hand on it. I haven’t try it out so I won’t be commenting on it just yet.

The face tan water and the glory oil have so many rave reviews and since the Christmas pack contains the exfoliator, the tan water, the glory oil and the free super fruit hydrator. I decided to try it out.

I am not religiously follow the regime so I won’t be seeing the tanning effect. I rarely use the tan water but it works similar to a toner. The glory oil is alright I use it sometimes after exfoliating. I’m not a fan of face oils but this oil is light to use. Have a nice scent and does not have a greasy after feel.

The super fruit hydrator is light and runny. I really like the packaging. As for a moisturiser, to me nothing too special about it. Just a face lotion.

Overall, I really like the brand. The turnaround time from ordering to receiving is quite good. The products are beautifully packaged and the ingredients are decent. My number one favourite would be the exfoliator. The best as compare to all the others that I have used.

Alpha-H: Liquid Gold

I have heard so much about this brand and have read so much positive reviews on this product.

This is my first time trying out this brand and Liquid Gold was my first experience.

First I really like the package, very tough but sleek bottle. There are two steps in opening, first the screw cap, then the flip lid. Very good protection of the contents.

The liquid is very much like toner. I am not sure why it was described all in one toner, exfoliator, serum and moisteriser. I usually put on serum and night cream after using this product.

When you first applied the Liquid Gold, it has a tingling effect and will go away after a few minutes. Not sure if it is because of the Glycolic Acid or its how they works to tighten your skin. Because of this I usually put a toner layer first before applying the Liquid Gold. I only use this every second night or a few nights in between.

The results? Since I usually do my skincare routine just before bed time so I don’t know about the noticeable difference after 20 minutes claim. But recently I can see that my skin is looking much better. Either this was due to the use of Liquid Gold or it could be a combination of my use of other skincare products.

Coryse Salome: Facial Exfoliating Gel

This is the brand I never heard of or see selling anywhere except online. The price is reasonably cheap so a bought a few to use.

The results are exceptionally satisfying. I have used their firming body lotion and was quite happy with it.

This is my first facial exfoliating gel and it was beautiful. The gel contains some beads but it’s very gentle to use. The skin feels very clean and soft after washing and the fragrance is quite nice. Overall, very good price for this product.

Lacura: Exfoliating Walnut Face Scrub

Never judge the product by its brand.

This is the first time I use a skincare product from Lacura (from Aldi). Many years ago, my supervisor’s wife told me that she use the moisturisers from Lacura and its quite good.

This face scrub works wonderful, more than what I was expected. It was not too rough on the skin but cleansed very well. The fragrance is quite nice too. Once you dried off your face, the skin is very smooth and soft. It works better than many other scrubs that I have used.

Good value for both money and product.

SPA Pharma Dead Sea Minerals: Mineral Gel Peeling

I believe this is an American brand but their products are being manufactured in Israel.

This peeling gel comes on a pump bottle which is very convenient to use. The gel gently slouches off the dead skin cells once you applied and rubbed in circular motions.

However, to note if your skin is damp or wet you will experience the unremovable skin especially the jaw areas. It feels like you have damaged the skin in those areas. It happened to me twice and I nearly has a heart until i found out the reasons. Now I only use it on dry skin.

I recently found the Korean peeling gel is milder to use.

Neutrogena: Deep Clean Gentle Scrub

I received this as a sample from the beauty bag and I’m loving it.

The scrub is creamy with a mild fragrance. The microbeads are very gentle and is not rough on the skin. It leaves you a very clean feeling after use and the skin is soft and not dry out.

Would highly recommend this scrub to use twice a week as an exfoliator to remove dead skin cells.

Mdoc: Relief First Peeling Gel

I received a sample sachet for this peeling gel when I bought some Korean skincare. The nice things about buying Korean products is that you always receive some samples to try. Sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are not suitable for you.

I found this product is quite nice and gentle to use. The skin slouched off gently leaving your skin feeling clean. Some other exfoliate gel I have used did not give me the satisfaction.

I would consider buying this. However this product is for men so I probably won’t buy it for myself.

I received this product as a free sample from Priceline promotion beauty bag. The first time I use it, I thought I was scrubbing my face with sand paper, but after a few times I got use to it and it actually feels very nice afterwards.

The fragrance is lemony and is really refreshing. After washing the face feels smooth and clean. Will definitely recommending this product.

This is the first time I use facial peel. Truthfully I don’t know what I was doing and almost have a heart attack. Sorry to be dramatic but I didn’t know what to expect.

I have followed the instructions and was happy with the amount of skin cells removed. However, some patches was rough and stuck on my face. I tried to add a bit more to remove but it’s getting worse and I started to panic thinking that I actually kill my healthy skin cells.

Even so I didn’t give up and give it another try after a few days and it seemed to be fine. I am now happy with the product. The skin feels smooth after the treatment but I only use once a week.
