Interesting how many major brands have specific lines catering for Asian skin such brands like L’Oréal, Biore, Garnier, Nivea etc…

This White Perfect Clinical is specially formulated for Asian skin and does not sell here in Australia.

I got this product because of my curiosity when I heard about the use of essence.

Although it was described as essence-lotion, but the texture is very thin like the toner.

Warning for those with sensitive skin. Since it contains Glycolic Acid, it has a tingling effect when you applied it on your face. It is not recommended if you use after facial peel or exfoliation otherwise it will have a burning feeling.

At first I didn’t read the ingredients carefully, I used it after facial peel, I had a burning sensation. A few other times there are tingling feelings too. I was kind of worried and almost throw it out. But when I used a couple of different products that contain the same ingredient, it has similar effect, so I believe it is ok to use.

About the whitening and banning spots, it may take a bit more time to see the effect.

Not sure if I’m a skincare addict or a collector addict but I tend to buy the whole set of everything. Since the introduction of the pure clay series I have been buying all the masks from this lot and now their cleanser variety.

At first I was disappointed of this product because the gel is very thin and runny and not satisfying when cleaning my face.

Until I received a wooden handle facial cleaning brush. This works so well together, the gel becomes foamy and cleanses my face to my desire.

L’oreal and I have been a long term friend. Before I did not knowing about a lot of different brands in the market so for cosmetics I’m only familiar with this brand and their products are pretty good to use too.

I have experienced a few unsatisfying foundations. They either too dry on your skin or developed fine lines after a couple of hours. I found that foundations with serum-enriched are easier to apply and reduces the look of dryness.

This foundation is smooth to put on,it does not show visible facial lines and absorbs evenly. The price is quite affordable too.

L’Oreal: Skin Perfection BB Cream

When the introduction of BB cream came out in Australia, I got this one to try out. There seems to be a big deal about BB cream and I’m not too sure if it’s really a worth it.

I remembered I used to put on tinted moisturiser and I think this is similar. It works as both moisturiser and foundation for me. However, I still need to put another foundation layer to cover blemishes someday when my face look over tired.

I am neutral about this cream, it is ok to use if you want a foundation-like look but not too heavy.

L’Oréal: Pure Clay Masks & Sugar Scrubs

When the pure clay masks from L’Oréal just came out, there were only 3 types: charcoal, eucalyptus and red algae. Lately they added the yuzu lemon and marine algae.

• Charcoal (mask) – detoxifies & brightens
• Eucalyptus (purity mask) – purifies, mattifies
• Red algae (glow mask) – brightens, exfoliates
• Yuzu lemon (brightening mask) – illuminates & evens skin tone
• Marine algae (anti-blemish mask) – clears blackheads & tightens pores

I have only tried the original 3 types but because I am a sucker for the collection so I bought the whole lot.

Recently I saw the introduction of the sugar scrub, so once again I bought the whole collection of three different types.

• Glow scrub – brightens, boosts radiance
• Nourishing scrub – softens, soothes dryness
• Purifying scrub – purifies, clears blackheads

With the three clay masks I have used, I prefer the eucalyptus over the other two. It is quite refreshing. The only setback I found with the masks is they are tedious to wash off compare to mud masks.

As I have confessed before I am obsessed with face masks although I can’t prove the benefits of them. However it is a nice indulgence 😁.

I can’t comment on the sugar scrubs because I haven’t try it. I have only heard about it recently and I know that the Korean skincare regime has a whole lot of different sugar scrubs on the market.
